THE ART GALLERY ORIGINS & THE MAJESTIC COLLECTION
Whilst working with many Gibraltar clients, we often find it difficult to source quality images of Gibraltar for both on-line and off-line marketing campaigns. Images available via stock libraries and other sources tend to be dull, uninspiring and dated. Gibraltar companies and its residents are very patriotic and like to use the rock to promote brand values such as stability, strength and heritage. Use of poor imagery can undermine these values and leave customers with a less than satisfactory impression of your brand.
In addition, we noticed that many office spaces were sparsely decorated, again mainly due to the lack of commercial art available on the market. As a business, your brand should not only be reflected by your presence on the high street or online, it should also be reflected in your commercial premises, offices and in the people that work for you.
As a result, Peppermint has spent 3 months developing a beautiful collection of images, graphics and illustrations based around the majestic Rock of Gibraltar.
Peppermint initially commissioned a 3 day shoot with professional photographer, Steve Sparrow to take the initial images, that we would then go on to develop. A significant amount of time was spent retouching the images and adding creative finishes to produce a stunning collection that we are truly proud of.
We also invited renowned professional photography, Carlos Duarte from Jerez to showcase some of his outstanding Gibraltar photography within the collection. True works of art, his photography evokes passion and portrays exceptional depth and detail.
To add a more contemporary and creative touch to the collection, we also designed a range of illustrations and graphics that focus on the iconic features of the rock.
The images in the collection can be purchased for use in marketing communications (ie. web and online, social media, press advertising, exhibition and display, magazine editorial and printed materials such as leaflets, brochures, menus, annual reports, directories and magazines etc) and they are also available to buy as prints, perfect for home decoration, office/boardroom art, commercial art, corporate gifts etc. Customers can choose from a range of different papers and materials to print the images on and Peppermint can also provide a framing service if required.
The collection was showcased at a one night only exhibition, at the Fine Arts Gallery in Casemates Square on 26th June.
All of the images in the collection can now be viewed on our website
